Strengthening Your Webinar Training Skills
This six week webinar series dives deeper into the world of live, online training design and delivery for those trainers, educators, presenters, and instructional designers who have experience with webinar training.
The virtual course is structured to include hands on time and coaching. There will be assignments between sessions to try out the session’s learning and receive feedback on the assignments. Participants will learn and practice effective, practical and creative strategies and techniques for the live online environment. They will also create, present and record an interactive virtual class.
We will cover the following and more:

Design
  • Techniques for converting a classroom exercise into one that works for a virtual classroom using webinar tools like chat, polling, white boarding, and web browsing.
  • Techniques for creating frequent participant interactivity and to meeting the course’s learning outcomes.
  • Using your voice as a key instructional tool in the virtual environment.
  • Building PowerPoint presentations for maximum engagement.
Facilitation

  • Strategies for creating learner engagement.
  • Techniques for managing difficult participants in a virtual classroom.
  • Technical considerations.
  • Crowd control management tips.
  • Managing technical problems.
  • Teaching participants when you don’t have the familiar visual cues of the classroom.
  • Facilitating collaborative exercises using breakout rooms, whiteboarding, application sharing, tests/quizzes, web browsing, video, and more.

What Do You Need to Participate?
Online live webinars are scheduled events over the web via WebEx Training Center with the audio portion over the telephone. You'll need a computer with a browser, Internet connection, WebEx Training Manager plug in (that you will download), and a telephone and headset for the audio portion of the webinar. Audio access details will be provided once you enter the virtual room.
Please allow time in advance to download the WebEx Training Manager plug in. Instructions will be emailed to you upon registration.

Cancellation Policy
Payment in full is required before the first day of the session for which you are registering. There are no refunds if you are not able to complete the course. If you are unable to complete the course due to a legitimate business reason, you may be allowed to complete the course in a future session, as space allows. Participants will be provided with recording of each session and the handouts.
